A Successful Community Design Clinic!
Our 2nd Annual Design Clinic was a success! We guided __ residents through a host of projects ranging from vast back yard gardens to the tiniest of kitchens. One participant commented that she appreciated being able to ask questions without a sales pitch and that she felt more comfortable approaching the work at her home. See the short recap video HERE.
Kicking off our New Project in our Neighborhood!
This year we're partnering with DCNOMA to deliver a concept design for Stanton Elementary's school garden and outdoor classroom. We're super excited about this partnership and project! We recently attended the school's Garden Gala to do a fun project with the kids. Through building their own flower, we were able to see what type of learning activities the students were interested in. The top pick? Art!
