Small Business Kiosk at 11th Street Bridge Park
Designed to support small black-owned businesses east of the river, REDC designed a mobile business kiosk for the future 11th Street Bridge Park. It's currently being used at pop-up markets around the city and we can't wait to see it in its permanent home at the park!
REDC Mobile Cart
REDC Mobile Cart is an ongoing project that takes the our educational programming on the road directly to our community members to provide useful information on the forces that shape our neighborhoods. The community can use this knowledge to advocate for the policies and projects they want.
Project Create Concept Design
Project Create is a local nonprofit located in Anacostia that provides free art classes and education for children and teens east of the river. In 2023, Project Create acquired a new building next to their existing facilities, and River East provided low cost design services to help them imagine what the expanded spaces could be. Through design charettes and meetings with Project Create staff and students, River East learned more about the organization's needs and wants as they continue to grow and utilized that knowledge in our schematic design ideas for the new building.
